FaSTTUBe, that not only stands for Formula Student Team of the TU Berlin , but also for team spirit, ambition, fuel, but also electricity in the blood. Every year since 2005, almost 80 students have been building new racing cars that are used in international Formula Student design competitions.
In addition to the combustion engine, FaSTTUBe has also been competing with its electric car since 2018. In the 2020 season, the focus was also on driverless. As of the 2022 season, FaSTTUBe will only build one race car with an electric powertrain and built-in autonomous capabilities. The 15-year-old history of combustion engines was given a fitting farewell at the FSAE Michigan in May 2022.
In the team, the classic engineering courses meet business students and other inquisitive people. Design, manufacturing, project management and finance are just a few of the many areas in which we students have to organize ourselves.
The engineers of tomorrow work here!
