With just 0,0014 sec Mats lost the quarter final vs Mattias Wulcan at Alastaro Finland. It´s not fun to loose, but this time we at least showed that Green Goblin is back in business again. So now we can focus on set ups and tunings. Over all it was a strange weekend where the wether was just the best. Warm and sunny all weekend. But the organizers had been struggling with the new surface on the track. If they got more time to prepare it, it should have been just the best ever in Finland. But with some practical issues the surface became very slippery and the first two days there was just a little grip. Most racers had problem to find right settings for the weekend. Next year the track will be super.
Mats and team tried out a lots of settings and manage to qualified as no 8 in the eight-ladder and by that meet qualified no 1 Mattias Wulcan, who won the whole race. A great congratulation to Mattias and team that made a great weekend. And to Roger Johansson that ended up as Runner Up.
The Goblin team is now planning for next Swedish Champion round at Malmoe Raceway in just a couple of weeks. Green Goblin i s back, with one eyes and some scrapes and bruises. But he´s back!
